The Flower Mound Chamber Singers comprises 20 to 30 men and women from the ages of 16 to 18, from Flower Mound, TX, a suburb of Dallas. The choir, which sings a wide variety of musical genres, and whose repertoire spans from the Renaissance to the 21st century, has received numerous performance awards in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, as well as receiving honours in performances in New York, Washington, DC, and San Antonio. Major works performed in the recent past include Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, the Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, K. 339, and the Requiem, K. 626, by W. A. Mozart. The Flower Mound Chamber Singers has performed in the Texas State Capitol, as well as at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City, the Vatican, and in the Salzburg Cathedral. This is their fifth tour of Europe.
