Join community developer Yorspace for a fun online workshop imagining and designing a co-owned carbon-neutral neighbourhood. Using York Central as an example, aim high and create something bold and attractive – not just an idea but a real alternative to how a neighbourhood is designed and used. Help us build back better after Covid 19, creating a future York for all of us, regardless of age.

Early booking advised as places are limited.

Yorspace & YoCo

Yorspace is a York-based Community Land Trust set up six years ago to develop forever affordable, low carbon communities across the city. Its first development, Lowfield Green in Acomb, will provide 19 new homes and a common house for local people who cannot afford to get onto the housing ladder. The development is starting on site this year and will be ready in 2021. Find out more at yorspace.org. Yorspace is working with https://www.yoco.uk/ - a community project designing a co-owned neighbourhood on part of York Central.
