Kings Ely Prep School Jazz Band presents an eclectic mix of jazz, blues and rock favourites to enjoy. The programme will also feature classic big band chart hits like Tuxedo Junction and Basin Street Blues, as well as a celebration of South African jazz compositions. The joyful pieces Mandela by Abdullah Ibrahim and Grazing in the Grass by Hugh Masekela are guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

About the performers
King’s Ely Prep School is the cathedral school at Ely, with music playing an integral part in the life of the school community. The jazz band features pupils from across the school, but particularly Year 7 and 8.
