Event details

Interested in joining a climate science workshop? Climate Fresk is a three-hour workshop based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports. This interactive session will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action through small-group discussion, reflection on emotions and collaborative action planning.

Climate Fresk runs all over the world and supports the power of small-scale discussions creating large scale change towards climate in terms of attitudes and action. The workshop is a card-based activity/discussion where you will learn about climate change and your feelings towards it, providing empowerment through understanding.

Join staff from the University of York as you learn to link the causes and effects of climate change, allowing you to take a step back to understand the challenges and actions required.

Suitable for anyone aged 16+ wanting to develop their understanding of this topic.

The session will include breaks and there are facilities to make tea and coffee. Please feel free to bring your own snacks. If you have any questions about the session, please contact us at: esay@york.ac.uk.

The Sustainability Clinic can be found on the ground floor in Market Square next to Nisa on Campus West.
