About the speaker
Lacey Allen is a postgraduate researcher at the University of York. She is passionate about implementing more access into society and ensuring that all people, no matter their background or abilities, can have the same experiences and access options. Her research focuses on improving accessibility in media for neurodivergent audiences, and the importance of considering neurodivergent people when integrating access into stories. Her educational background involves the areas of primary education, theatre, performance and drama. Lacey has always been eager to tell stories, whether this be through the theatre, the classroom or through media access considerations.
