Event details

What questions would you like to pose about the York Army Museum’s objects?  With funding from the Weston Loan and Art Fund Programme, York Army Museum is
working in partnership with the British Museum to host a new exhibition Object Journeys,
opening in October 2025. The exciting new exhibition will focus on objects from around the world which are now in the museums’ collections.

Come along to find out about the background to the exhibition, have input into the choice of archives and objects included, and let us know what kind of questions you would like to ask about the objects and the journeys they have made which have led them to be part of museum collections.

No booking required, just drop in.

Accessibility: The museum is down a flight of 11 steps. There is a platform stairlift which will take weights of up to 325Kg.  Contact the museum on 01904 461010 for further information.
