“Campbell is a young master of the arts...demonstrating prodigal talents....and making waves across the Classical Music Scene” - London Daily News

Enjoy a live performance of an experimental, multi-media composition based on the mathematics used to crack the enigma code during World War II.

Written by violinist Jack M Campbell in collaboration with the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park, this multi-genre work for solo violin and experimental electronics is both an historical reflection and a celebration of the technological triumphs of the past.

Sounding Bombe; Enigma Project has already toured North America and been performed at Bletchley Park, UK. Join Jack at the York Army Museum as he reflects musically on the foundation of the modern computer and the end of World War II.

Accessibility: The York Army Museum is down a flight of 11 steps. There is a platform stairlift which will take weights of up to 325Kg.  Contact the museum on 01904 461010 for further information.
