Two Fish
Event details
This event has been cancelled. Apologies for any disappointment caused.
Traditional fisherman John is the last of a dying breed. Unsustainable fishing practices, wind changes and a host of other factors are preventing him from living the life he was born for.
John’s wife Helen is at her wits end, with John's one-time childhood friend Rob offering a possible solution to their financial problems. John’s way of life is seemingly dying out, but can two fish swimming against the tide create change?
Join us for a performance of Two Fish, a play exploring the economic implications of climate change on a coastal community and the moral and ethical choices we face when our circumstances change.
Presented by the Pyramids of Life project team, the event includes a discussion of the issues raised in the play around sustainable fishing led by marine experts.

About Pyramids of Life
The Pyramids of Life project seeks to better understand how we can work sustainably to manage our oceans, and how a change in fishing and consumer behaviour could improve stocks and promote biodiversity.
