Come along and create your own decorative papers using cornstarch paste. Discover how this simple and versatile method was developed by bookbinders as an easy and inexpensive way to create unique covers and end papers for their books.

During this hands-on workshop you’ll have time to make several different patterns. Pastepapers are great for using to make greetings cards , wrapping paper, decorate boxes and more with their bright designs. (Please note: you’ll not have time to do this at the session.) Papers will be wet when completed, so you are welcome to leave them and collect them later or on another day when they have dried.

Suitable for anyone aged 7+, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited places available so booking is recommended. Book through any Explore York Library: york@exploreyork.org.uk or 01904 552828.
