Saturday 25 June, 1 pm, Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, University of York
This concert celebrates Samuel Beckett’s influence on contemporary music with four varied and colourful responses to his texts. Performers will include John Tilbury, one of the most consistently inventive pianists playing today. Come and hear compositions by Leeds-based composer Martin Iddon and a world premiere from the Northern Irish composer Damien Harron.
