Now in its fifth year, the LUMA Film Festival was created by University of York students to champion the work of budding filmmakers. 

With talks and workshops across the weekend hosted by some of the best in the industry, LUMA invites you to see for yourself just how challenging and rewarding processes behind filmmaking can be.

The weekend also features screenings of some of the finest examples of student filmmaking in the country, showcasing the vast talent found within the University’s Department of Theatre, Film and Television.
