Event details

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to travel from port to port in Tudor Europe adventuring your money in a bid to become a successful Tudor Merchant.

This family-friendly activity involves a trail where, as a young merchant, you start in York with £100 in your purse. You buy goods and then head out to European ports to sell them, before buying more to make a profit. Your eventual aim is to finish in York with more money than you started with.

Try to avoid the pirates and wars as you go along!

Last entrance at 4pm.

This activity is part of a successful fully funded Key Stage 2 Key project where children from York schools have the opportunity to visit the Hall and learn about the Merchant Adventurers and the links to their area of study.
