Event details

Explore the meaning and mystic power of occult manuscripts, ritual objects and symbols from around the world with writer and researcher Peter Forshaw.

Peter will clarify what we mean by ‘occult’ before examining its foundations, the philosophy of occult magic and the modern occult revival. You’ll be guided from ancient beliefs to the rebirth of the occult in the 19th century with spiritualism, theosophy and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and on to the 20th century’s anthroposophy, New Age and occulture movements.

Join Peter, the author of Occult, as he highlights and examines key symbols, and explains important rituals and practices to provide new insights into the philosophies and beliefs of occultists from antiquity to today.

This event will take place live on Zoom Webinar. You will receive a link to join a couple of days before the event and a reminder an hour before. During the event, you can ask questions via a Q&A function, but audience cameras and microphones will remain muted throughout.
