Event details

All Saints North Street is best known for its spectacular collection of medieval stained glass, but the colour and light created by the magnificent windows are just part of the multi-sensory experience of Christian worship at this ancient church. A glimpse at the array of musical instruments depicted on the painted angel ceiling clearly shows the longstanding importance of music.

People of all faiths and none are invited to attend a special celebration of Evensong and to experience the inspirational power of devotional music in a beautiful historic setting. Preceded by a talk about the meaning of Evensong in Christianity, the event is an opportunity to learn more about a tradition of worship that has lasted for over a thousand years at All Saints North Street.
