Speaker(s): Alastair MacLennan

'NOTE TONE' is 12 hour performance by Alastair MacLennan presented as part of Action Art Now, curated by O U I Performance

Working against performance art's disappearance under commerce and normative hierarchies covertly operating within contemporary art culture, O U I Performance actively encourages difficult modes of artistic production and consumption. Action Art Now creates a temporary shelter for the international community of pro-sumer artists.

Action Art Now is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Alastair MacLennan is one of the UK’s most influential performance art practitioners.
