Director of Chicken Run and The Pirates! Band of Misfits, and co-founder of Aardman Animations, Peter Lord, will be interviewed by Judith Buchanan on film production, the history of animation, winning an Oscar, his plans for the future and much more.

Speaker biography

Peter Lord, CBE (born 1953) is a British film producer, director and co-founder of the Academy Award-winning Aardman Animations studio, an animation firm best known for its clay-animated films and shorts, particularly those featuring plasticine duo Wallace & Gromit. He also directed Pirates! Band of Misfits which he was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 85th Academy Awards.
