Stories of WWII unfold in these talks by historians Jim Ring and Roderick Bailey. They will reveal the importance of the Alps as a theatre of war - as much the heart of the Third Reich as Berlin, but also cradles of the resistance movements - and the history of the war waged by Britain’s Special Operations Executive on Mussolini’s Fascist Italy that led to its surrender in 1943.
