Event details

Plants and soil surround us whenever we step outside our door, and Forensic Botany now has an accepted role in criminal investigation. This presentation by Jennifer Miller of YAT's Dickson Laboratory for Bioarchaeology will outline the various ways in which plants contribute to the investigation of serious crime, giving case examples to help illustrate salient points. Visitor discretion is advised: this illustrated talk will include discussion of crime scenes that some may find distressing.
