How long does it take to write a poem? A short story? A memoir piece? In the hectic modern world, lack of time is one of the most frequent excuses for not doing more creative work. This set of lightning workshops, led by Creative Writing lecturers from York St John University, challenges the assumption that all good writing takes time. We need not treat writing like financial investments or fine wines – a sense of urgency can be inspiring and lead to more daring decisions. This event will prepare you to capture those fleeting moments when you find them.
