How do we reconstruct the careers and characters of historical figures?

Exploring the rich textual and visual archive of the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries, they will explore both the personalities of their subjects and the nature of royal power in medieval and Tudor England.

Chaired by Dave Musgrove, Editor of BBC History Magazine. Dave Musgrove has edited BBC History Magazine, Britain’s bestselling history magazine, for several years. Prior to moving into historical publishing, he completed a doctorate in medieval landscape archaeology.
