Event details

This family friendly event brings to life stories of some of the artefacts on display in the Yorkshire Museum, through stories written by student volunteers from the University of York.

The stories will take inspiration from three exhibitions. The "Capital of the North" stories explore York’s Anglo Saxon heritage. "Star Carr stories" revisit the life of the Mesolithic site, which has been excavated for the past 60 years, and "Tales of Tempest Anderson" tell more about the life this famous York man and his adventures as a volcano chaser.
