Event details

University of York

Can you keep a secret? Should all secrets be revealed? What is the ultimate secret? Join us for an evening of storytelling as we explore what mythology, folk tales and literature can teach us about the secrets we keep and those we try to uncover. There will be time for audience discussion after the performance.

Alice Courvoisier

Alice Courvoisier is a maths tutor, keen traveller and avid reader. She has talked to specialised and lay audiences on topics ranging from kayak touring to solar physics. She is currently exploring how storytelling can help communicate ideas.

Jacqueline Saville

Jacqueline Saville spent nine years at three universities in an attempt to be a physicist, then decided she'd rather have a nine-to-five job and time to write. She blogs at http://thousandmonkeys.wordpress.com/ where some of her stories and graphic novels are free to download.
