Have you ever wanted to try making your own books?

Join staff from York Minster and York Explore Library for our Bookmaking workshop where you can make your own accordion style book. Find out about early printing and handwritten books, then take part in a game to earn the money to set up your own book making business.

It’s then time to get creative and start to make a book of your own from a wide range of materials provided, as well as the ones you have earned.

Suitable for children aged 7+ who must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Book through any Explore York Library: york@exploreyork.org.uk or 01904 552828.
