Discover how water companies recover energy from wastewater during the treatment process and learn more about the trailblazing research into renewable energy being carried out at York’s Department of Biology.

The behind-the-scenes tour will provide plenty of opportunities for asking researchers questions about their work . Join them and learn about the potential of wastewater for energy and resource recovery.

The guided tour is led by Professor James Chong, James Robson, Kimberley Barnes, Yumechris Amekan, Annabel Cansdale and Abdulrahman Khan from the University of York’s Department of Biology.
