Event details

Meet author-illustrator Salomey Doku for an interactive exploration of the world of graphic novels. Learn how to create a book, from the who, what, where and when of a graphic novel through to the process of crafting and colouring the pages.

An ideal workshop for aspiring writers and artists, why not come along and gain the tools you need to create stories and worlds of your own?

Suitable for ages 12+. Free lunchtime snacks will be provided to ticket holders following the event. The Place can be found in Sanderson House, Bramham Rd, Acomb, YO26 5AR.

Parents and carers are welcome to stay and join in, however The Place has a trained delivery team who will supervise the session meaning that young people can be dropped off instead. Parents and carers wishing to stay should also book a ticket.
