Event details

The LUMA Film and TV Festival was created by University of York students to champion the work of the School of Arts and Creative Technologies.

Enjoy screenings of students’ work, talks and workshops from leading professionals in the UK film and television industry, as well as a Gala awards ceremony. Past student work screened at LUMA has gone on to win awards and recognition at both national and international level. 

No pre-booking is required for the LUMA Film and TV Festival from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June, but please book in advance for the Gala awards ceremony which will take place on Sunday 14 June at 7pm.
