About the speaker

Dr Karisha Kimone George began her tertiary education in Trinidad and Tobago before completing her graduate study in Psychology at the University of York, UK. During her time as an academic at York, she has specialised in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, particularly as it relates to wellbeing. She has run several research projects exploring how wellbeing needs may vary as a result of one's background. Her aim is to use education and research to empower others in their wellbeing journeys.
