Martin Vander Weyer talks about Fortune’s Spear, his acclaimed biography of 1920s City of London fraudster Gerard Lee Bevan — a financier of impeccable credentials who went to the bad when markets turned against him.
Martin Vander Weyer is the business editor of The Spectator and a regular contributor to the Daily Telegraph. He is also the author of Falling Eagle: The Decline of Barclays Bank (2000).
A debate on the financial markets will accompany this lecture at 7.15pm.
