13-29 June, York Minster
This summer heralds a busy year ahead for music at York Minster with the York Minster Choir and Organists, celebrating 1,000 years of musicianship at York Minster. You can hear our triumphant choir in many concert appearances and during Evensong, in addition to enjoying performances by the magnificent Minster organists.
As part of the York Early Music Festival, fans of Renaissance Music will have the rare opportunity to hear music from York Minster’s archives, including extracts from the York Missal on 13 July, performed by the Choir all in celebration of the launch of new interactive exhibitions in the Undercroft and Treasury.
Festival of Ideas offer: use code FOI2013 to receive 10% off all tickets booked for Minster choir events during the Festival of Ideas. (Terms and conditions apply, valid until 29 June 2013).
You can find details of more performances at www.yorkminster.org or hear the choir daily in evensong (Tuesday – Saturday 5.15pm, Sunday 4pm).
