Event details

Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is York’s research communication competition. PhD students from across the disciplines have three minutes to communicate the impact of their research to an audience made up of school pupils, teachers, members of the general public and industry.

Communicating to different audiences is important as it helps  researchers to demonstrate the contribution that research makes to wider society and the economy. Come and take part as a member of the audience and hear about the exciting research projects at York.
