Event details

Throughout the nursing programme at York St John University, students learn to care for their patients holistically, as people with the capacity for health and healing. They are guided to become compassionate, competent and confident nurses, able to deliver safe, evidence-informed, person-centred nursing care.

With talks from our expert nursing team, witness a simulated resuscitation attempt and observe patient interactions with our high-tech, fully functioning, state-of-the-art manikins. Try your hand at performing some patient observations and develop your understanding of what it takes to care for a patient holistically - all in our brand-new simulation suite, which is leading the nurses of the future to become skilled and competent practitioners.wou

Join us to find out more about how nursing is taught at York St John, and to explore their fantastic, brand-new simulation lab. These state-of-the-art facilities are part of an outstanding educational experience, which encourages students to make a positive and sensitive contribution to the health and wellbeing of people from a broad range of backgrounds.
