Eboracum Baroque: The Story Orchestra
Event details
The musicians of Eboracum Baroque present The Story Orchestra: Four Seasons in One Day featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
The story follows a little girl called Isabelle and her dog, Pickle on the adventure of a lifetime across the changing seasons. You’ll hear the spring blossom, feel the summer’s heat, gather in the autumn harvest and gasp at the cold of winter. Alongside the narration of the book (by Vivaldi himself) and projection of beautiful illustrations, hear the wonderful music of Vivaldi's Four Seasons performed on baroque instruments.
After the performance, learn about the baroque instruments Eboracum Baroque play and enjoy lots of activity resources from artwork to singing.
This is an online, pre-recorded concert. You will be sent a link and password in advance that can be used to access the performance on Friday 18 June at 2pm.
With thanks to our funders at the East Riding Music Hub who made this project possible.
